Plus I dont play Skyrim now, for one, I just didnt like it as much, and two, I actually had a problem with the launcher on that, but before I resolved it, I upgraded pc, and have not yet re-installed Skyrim, to see if that particular problem still exist's?
OBM is a little harder to understand, but is well worth it when you know what its doing, and how much it actually can tell you when used to its full. I have been doing it that way for so long, I cant remember what I actually read up on it? But I think there is a file in there called obse steam loader. But there is a message saying DONT start through a manager, and I have a feeling it maybe that the Steam in game community thingy where you talk to friends etc, may be stopped by this, and I think it is a requirement that it is always on? I am not sure why this happens myself, this is how I get around it. In my case I get that particular error, when Oblivion is already running in the background, and I try "launching" it again, and by quitting Steam, it resets Steam and game, and I then get a normal start. I ran into issues with that working too- NMM is just easier for me. I tested out OBM, but it's not for me really. I have no problem launching Skyrim through NMM. Skyshark - This happens with or without mods activated. I have no idea why does this happen, but it started recently. I have the same issue when using Wrye Bash, I just restart steam and it works. I can start the game up through Steam just fine, but when I do it that way it seems like some of my mods aren't working.
